Would of loved more time at each main stop as there was so much to see in a short amount of time. Full day would be ideal - plus enjoy an lunch somewhere.

This is a great half day tour that gives you an overview of the history and key tourist spots around Darwin. Troy, our tour guide was warm and welcoming, an excellent driver and very knowledgeable. We stopped at the aviation museum, NT museum and art gallery as well as the Botanic Gardens. Troy pointed out lots of interesting places and facts along the way, inspiring us to come back in our own time to explore certain points of interests. Appreciated the restaurant tips from a local also. A very enjoyable and interesting tour!

Perfect way to get your bearings. Good commentary about the devistating cyclone Tracy. The air museum was the highlight. Thoroughly recommend it. Disappointed that there was no sunset cruise, but on the end the bus driver solved the issue by recommending dinner at the sailing club and watched the sunset from there

Great introduction to Darwin. Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Whether my appetite to go back to the places visited. In saying that, time spent at each location was perfect for a tour. Highly recommended.

On our first day in Darwin we decided to take this tour so that we could be shown around the town and its surrounds and give us an idea of where we might like to return to and spend more time. Our driver and guide, who was originally from the Netherlands, was excellent. Really knew her stuff and was an excellent safe driver. The tour covers all the city and it's surrounds. You drive out onto Stokes Hill Wharf, along the Waterfront past the WW11 Oil Storeage Tunnels, Charles Darwin National Park showing the camouflaged munition storeage bunkers, East Point Reserve, George Brown Botnic Gardens, a visit in the Aviation Museum and also the Museum and Art Gallery. I think that covers most of the areas that you are taken to in the 5 hours or more of the tour. In our opinion it was a very well worth while tour to do.

You were left alone for 4 hours with no one to help you. If not for the staff at Croc cove we would have been lost. The 8 hour guided tour is only 4 hours because the first 4 hours it's up to you to take the tour yourself. This was a waste of cash, don't do it.

When I arrived at Crocosaurus Cove I found there was no group and no guide. Plus it was raining. I visited the different exhibits and enjoyed the wild life presentation. About the time I was leaving a large group of school children arrived and the area is a bit small for such a large group in the rain The man in the gift shop gave me my voucher for lunch at The Tap but before that I had to go further up the street to find out the details for the afternoon tour. Lunch was pretty good but I had to stretch it to fill the time. The city tour was also in the rain. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable about Darwin and I got to see a lot out the bus window. The museum stop was very good as I enjoy going to museums--especially the aborigine display and the one on Cyclone Tracy. Unfortunately the sunset cruise was canceled due to the bad weather--no visibility and rough water. The tour ended on a high note when she took us back to the hotel instead of leaving us in the Transit Center where we got on. It would have been much better if it had not rained.

City Tour is good . Crocosaus is disappointing . More animals could be added . For eg, other reptiles and large fishes from various places.
